Baker & Partners invite Jersey Finance Members to join their fireside discussion on Tuesday 11 November at The Yard, with visiting guest speaker and former Morgan Stanley Partner Jamie Kermisch, and Lynne Gregory from Baker & Partners.

Jamie Kermisch
Jamie has over 35 years of executive leadership and a track record in leading prominent global alternative asset managers. Recently Jamie has worked as an expert witness and consultant in high-profile legal cases, advising clients and courts on complex issues mainly related to alternative asset management and derivatives. His expertise spans disputes concerning fees, mis-valuation, investments, governance, risk management, bribery, regulation, and asset concealment. Jamie is recognised for his insights into litigation risks, often overlooked by operators, stakeholders and fiduciaries, providing practical guidance to assist decision-making and navigate legal challenges in the industry.
Lynne Gregory
Lynne is a Partner at Baker & Partners LLP in Jersey. Lynne was previously in-house at Centamin PLC, a FTSE 250 mining company based in Jersey where she carried out a wide range of international regulatory, compliance, advisory and commercial work in addition to litigation spanning multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Africa, Australia and Canada. Lynne began her career practising the full spectrum of commercial and civil dispute resolution at several of London’s top firms including Baker & McKenzie and Charles Russell Speechlys, following training and qualification completion at Allen & Overy.
