Private capital has gone global but structuring and fundraising strategies haven’t evolved. Managers ask counsel for the standard answer and they get it. What they should be questioning is whether the standard fits the mandate? And is there smarter way?

Join Jersey Finance, Foley & Lardner and CalALTs for an insightful panel discussion titled ‘Where will your next investor come from? Rethinking fund structures for a global capital base’.

The session will be moderated by Philip Pirecki, Americas Lead at Jersey Finance. It will bring together legal and industry experts, including Brian Wheeler, Partner at Foley & Lardner, and Paul Worsnop, Partner at Appleby, to explore how leading managers are adapting to a world where capital, investors and opportunities increasingly cross borders. They will examine how jurisdictional choice can support fundraising, investor access, operational efficiency and long-term growth and, using real-world experiences and practical examples, how Jersey compares with other leading jurisdictions and why it is increasingly being used as a bridge between US managers and international capital.

Hosted by Foley & Lardner in San Francisco, this event offers fund structuring lawyers, regulatory and corporate lawyers, general counsel and asset managers the opportunity to gain valuable insights, hear expert perspectives and network with peers operating at the forefront of international private capital.
