Elections don’t just shape politics -they shape careers, industries and everyday life. But for many young professionals, voting can feel distant, confusing or disconnected from the realities of work and life in Jersey.

This interactive session is designed to change that.

‘Your Voice, Your Impact’ is not a political lecture and it’s not about telling you who or what to vote for. Instead, it’s a space to explore how election outcomes influence the finance industry, your career prospects and the Island you live in — and to have your say on what really matters to your generation.

Through short, practical insights, live polling and small-group discussions, we’ll look at:

  • How government decisions affect jobs, skills and long-term career opportunities
  • What elections mean for Jersey’s competitiveness as an international finance centre
  • How policies on housing, cost of living, transport and digital services shape daily life
  • What corporate citizenship looks like — and the role businesses and young professionals can play

You’ll help build a collective priorities manifesto for young professionals, capturing the issues this generation wants future decision-makers to hear and take part in a practical Q&A that demystifies voting and cuts through the noise.

Above all, this event is about listening, not lecturing — giving young professionals a platform to share their views, understand their influence and decide for themselves how (and whether) to use their voice in 2026.

If you’ve ever wondered “does my vote really matter?”, then this conversation is for you.
