James is second generation in the family businesses he leads at Enashipai Resort and Spa as well as Mavoloni Granite. Prior to his current roles, he worked in various other industries such as electronic contract manufacturing, banking and telecommunications. He believes in good corporate governance, a journey their family has been on for several years. Strathmore University has been a strong pillar in that journey as have other professionals.
James has been a Rotarian for almost 20 years and has served in various capacities over the years. In January 2015 he summited Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for his local Rotary Club’s Community Projects. He also serves in the Board of the Nakuru Chapter of Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Naivasha Tourism Association.
