Advocate Sonia Shah has joined the Bedell Cristin partnership as the newest partner in the firm’s top-tier Jersey Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
Sonia – who is ranked by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 – has been with the firm for almost ten years and has advised clients in some of the longest-running and complex trusts disputes matters before the Jersey courts during her time in the jurisdiction.
The news, which comes as part of the firm’s annual promotions, means that the team is now led by four partners including Advocates Robert Gardner, Edward Drummond and Robert Christie.
Kirsten Brass has also been promoted to Counsel in the firm’s top-tier ranked Jersey International Private Client team. Kirsten is based in the firm’s London office in the heart of the City, and has been recognised for the quality of her work on international wealth structuring and estates by Legal 500 and eprivateclient.
Juliette Walton will also be joining the tier one Jersey International Private Client team, in the Jersey office, as an associate, having successfully qualified through the firm’s training scheme. She is the latest graduate of the global training scheme, which has seen lawyers qualify across its Jersey, Cayman Islands and Guernsey offices.
The firm is also announcing the promotions of Anna Snowden to senior marketing & communications executive, Emma White to senior finance administrator and Jordan Spencer to senior client take-on administrator, all in the Jersey office.
