We brought together senior industry leaders in Hong Kong SAR for an exclusive private wealth event exploring how global families, allocators and institutions are responding to a more complex international investment landscape.
Held on 4 June 2026, our ‘Private Wealth in Motion: Allocations, Alternatives and Asia’s Next Chapter’ event focussed on the evolving global wealth environment amid geopolitical uncertainty, higher interest rates and changing cross-border capital flows. The invitation-only event formed part of our continued engagement with Asia’s private wealth and investment community.
The event featured our CEO, Joe Moynihan, alongside a panel of investment and private wealth specialists, including William Ma, Global Chief Investment Officer at GROW Investment Group, Daniel Jim, Managing Director at Chartwell Capital and Navin Raj Jaidev, Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates. The discussion was moderated by Senior Consultant, Jo Murphy.
During the session, panellists examined how private wealth portfolios are shifting across alternatives, private markets and real assets, as investors continue to navigate geopolitical fragmentation and a less synchronised global cycle. The discussion also considered the implications of recent developments in the Middle East and how these are shaping investment strategies, including the rise of direct and co-investment activity.
Speakers explored the evolving role of Asia, and Hong Kong in particular, in cross-border capital flows, structuring and family office strategies. They also reflected on allocator perspectives around manager selection, liquidity trade-offs and risk management, as well as structuring considerations for global families and institutions, including jurisdictional diversification, governance and long-term capital preservation.
A central theme of the event was the role of international finance centres, such as Jersey, in providing stability, certainty and trusted frameworks for globally mobile private capital. The discussion also highlighted how wealth structures are adapting to meet changing generational priorities, as families seek resilient, flexible and well-governed solutions in an uncertain environment.
