What is the opportunity?
The role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. This role operates in the Wealth Management International Operations department within RBC. Your main responsibility for this role is to provide effective day to day management support of the team ensuring all daily duties are undertaken as part of the oversight of outsourced functions. You will help maintain and develop test cases for Banking and Payment operations, working with subject matter experts to expand test cases against system enhancements.
What will you do?
- Perform Banking & Payment testing as well as oversight functions for our outsourced partners in Malaysia, ensuring team are fully trained to cover all key activities.
- Conduct quality assurance sampling checks as outlined to ensure quality is maintained in outsourced function, continually assessing training needs whilst providing subject matter expertise.
- Act as an escalation point for issue resolution with the teams based in Malaysia.
- Production of metrics for outsourced Banking and Payment activities in support of monthly oversight committee meeting.
- Assistance with the development of Service Level Agreements and key metrics in conjunction with the business lines supported.
- Creation and ongoing maintenance of new test cases to support normal regression testing and new functionality.
- Deliver key Metric data to allow for oversight of exception management reporting, staffing requirements and driving service delivery with our business partners.
- Adapt to ongoing change while supporting employees through the process, keeping them focused on business priorities.
- Oversee the development of Operational Procedures and adherence to them by the team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Experience of supporting Banking & Payments activity within a high volume business.
- Sound knowledge of banking products and UK agency clearing services, retails payments and operation control and workflows.
Nice-to-have:
- Qualified Banking or Qualified Securities professional.
- Experience in setting Service Level Agreements.
