What is the opportunity?

The Service Delivery team is responsible for a range of Securities Operations processes including monitoring trade settlement, arranging stock transfers, collecting quarterly fees, producing scheduled valuation reports and approving client payments and FX. The team provides a service to our UK based business, to maintain and process client Securities transactions in line with UK regulations and provides operations support to the RBC Investments business including portfolio maintenance, arranging account opening and closures.

The Service Delivery Senior Administrator supports these functions by producing and reviewing key control reports including cash and stock reconciliations, and taking action to record and resolve any items identified.  The Senior Administrator will process and approve securities transaction, liaise with our business partners to resolve queries and will be involved in tasks supporting the maintenance of our client’s securities portfolios.

What will you do?

  • Process securities transactions including trade settlements, transfers, corporate actions, fees and payments.
  • Produce and review daily control reports, investigate and take action to resolve any findings identified.
  • Prepare and book client FX transactions.
  • Investigate queries raised by internal business partners.
  • Support quarterly client reporting tasks.
  • Work with wider Operations team and internal business partners, escalating issues to relevant internal parties where necessary.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proficient with Microsoft office systems (especially excel).Proven experience within an administration role.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
  • Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience within a financial administration role.
