Jersey Finance, in partnership with True, have developed a series of Imagine If in-person workshops to enhance the finance industry’s understanding and awareness of Sustainability Risk Management (SRM).

SRM is not only about your firm’s exposure; it’s also about long-term business resilience and understanding the risks affecting the assets you may manage on behalf of clients.

Attending this CPD-accredited workshop will give you a broader and deeper understanding of the interconnected sustainability risks and a framework for identifying and discussing risks in your own business.

Attendees will participate in an interactive scenario setting exercise, explore the science, and identify and understand the key risks. AI technology will be used during the session to generate a summary of the workshop, which will be shared with participants.

The event series is designed for senior professionals, particularly client-facing teams, compliance personnel and members of risk or governance committees, with this particular session focussing on the funds and corporate services sectors. Other professionals are welcome to express an interest in attending.

Profile

With an 18 year career in Private Banking, both in Jersey and London, Michelle has gained significant technical expertise as well as a comprehensive network of industry connections. She has led teams and projects throughout her various roles and latterly headed the business development function for a large Private Bank across the Channel Islands. Michelle started True, a sustainability business, in 2020 and she brings this experience to her role as Director and Chief Sustainability Officer, partnering with corporate clients on their sustainability journeys.
