We are hosting an invitation-only roundtable in Malaysia on 5 November, in partnership with Azimuth Global Partners and Trowers & Hamlins.

Hosted by Yiow Chong Tan, Director – South East Asia, Jersey Finance, with Elliot Refson, Head of Funds, Jersey Finance, also in attendance, the roundtable will explore income opportunities from private credit secured against UK real estate.

As investors seek attractive yields with downside protection in the current market environment, the discussion will consider how private lending operates across the real estate capital stack, including senior and whole loans, as well as the risk-return characteristics of different strategies. Speakers will also share insights on sourcing and underwriting transactions, supported by case studies of recent loans across a range of real estate sectors.

The roundtable will also explore fund and investment structuring considerations, including the role Jersey structures can play in facilitating investment into UK real estate private credit, alongside key risks such as borrower quality, collateral valuation and exit scenarios.

Attendees will also share their views on how Malaysian investors can access and participate in UK real estate credit strategies.

Attendance is by invitation only. If you have any queries about this event, please contact our events team.
