Across private equity, private credit, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate and hedge funds, the opportunity goes beyond automating existing processes. At this Funds Focus event, senior leaders from across the alternatives industry will explore what this transformation looks like in practice. Matt CrillHead of Fund Services and Head of the Jersey office, Triton

Matthew is Head of Fund Services and Head of the Jersey office at Triton, where he has led fund services teams since October 2013. He oversees administration and finance functions across Triton’s private equity and credit funds including as SPV holding structures, executive investment and incentive schemes including and MIP structures, advisory and internal structures, and AML services. Before joining Triton, Matthew was a private practice lawyer at Mourant in Jersey, advising leading private equity, real estate, and credit funds.

Peggy GielenSenior Legal and Technical Manager, Jersey Finance

Profile

Peggy Gielen joined Jersey Finance in September 2005 as Legal and Technical Manager.

Peggy is originally from Belgium, where she obtained a Masters in Economics at Antwerp University before working as a manager in the Foreign Trade and Credit functions of KBC Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to joining Jersey Finance, Peggy was working at the Belgian Embassy in London, where she was responsible for developing and supporting inward and outward investment opportunities for Flanders.

Chris PattonHead of Fund Solutions, UK & Channel Islands, CSC Jersey

Chris has been with CSC since 2000 and is Head of Fund Solutions for the UK, Channel Islands, Spain, UAE and Ireland. Before joining CSC, Chris worked in various leadership roles for two Jersey fund administrators, including as head of private equity for a number of years. He also worked in the Economic Development department of Government of Jersey. Chris started his professional career with Deloitte in 2002, where he worked both in Jersey and London. Chris is a UK Chartered Tax Advisor and holds an ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance; and an undergraduate degree in Applied Microbiology.

Shaun FarleyAudit Partner, KPMG

Shaun Farley is an Audit Partner at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies and leads the firm's Investment Management offering in Jersey. He works with a broad range of alternative investment structures, including private equity, venture capital, real estate and hedge funds, advising fund managers on audit, financial reporting and regulatory matters. Shaun has extensive experience supporting both established sponsors and emerging managers and works closely with clients on the practical implications of regulatory change, evolving fund structures and developments across the investment management sector. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants and is an active contributor to discussions on the future development of Jersey's funds industry.

Laura HazzardExecutive Director, Altair Partners Limited

Laura is an executive director of Altair Partners Limited, a Jersey headquartered provider of independent director services. She acts as an independent director on the board of a portfolio of fund clients in the private equity and venture capital/tech investment space. A qualified chartered accountant, Laura started her career with Arthur Andersen in 1997 and has worked in the international financial services industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Altair, she held various leadership roles with global fund and corporate administrators in Jersey and brings her deep governance and operational experience to the boards she serves.
