Alternative investment managers are rethinking how they organise people, data, governance and technology as artificial intelligence and automation reshape the way fund businesses operate.

Across private equity, private credit, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate and hedge funds, the opportunity goes beyond automating existing processes. It is about building more scalable, resilient and responsive businesses that combine technology with specialist expertise, effective governance and experienced judgement.

At this Funds Focus event, senior leaders from across the alternatives industry will explore what this transformation looks like in practice. Hear directly from investment managers about how automation and technology are changing operating models, investment processes and decision-making, as well as the way managers work with service providers.

Drawing on practical, real-world experience from investment managers alongside fund administrators, auditors and technology specialists, the discussion will examine where technology is delivering meaningful value across front, middle and back-office functions – and where human expertise remains indispensable.

The panel will consider the technologies having the greatest impact today, the processes firms are choosing to automate and how businesses are using data more intelligently to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency and client service. It will also explore the importance of governance and oversight as technology becomes increasingly embedded within alternative investment businesses.

As operating models evolve, firms are also considering where best to locate leadership, governance and specialist expertise. Jersey’s deep alternative investment ecosystem, internationally recognised regulatory framework and collaborative professional community provide an environment in which global managers can combine innovation with the expertise and infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.

Join us to hear how firms are adapting today, where technology is making a tangible difference and what the alternative investment business of the future could look like.
