We continued to strengthen our relationships across Asia this October, bringing together industry professionals in Singapore to exchange perspectives on the evolving private wealth landscape and explore opportunities for international collaboration.
On 20 and 21 October, Jersey Finance participated as an exhibition sponsor at the annual STEP Asia conference, connecting with private wealth practitioners, trustees and advisers from across the region.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for our Deputy CEO, Amy Bryant and Director – South East Asia, Yiow Chong Tan, to discuss the importance of trusted, well-regulated jurisdictions in supporting families across generations. Discussions at the conference also explored the priorities shaping international wealth planning, the growing complexity of cross-border structures and succession planning. The Government of Jersey’s Assistant Minister for External Relations, Deputy Elaine Millar, was also in attendance.
Building on these conversations, we hosted a ‘Singapore Connect, Private Wealth’ networking reception on 22 October, led by Yiow Chong Tan, Director – South East Asia.
The invitation-only reception brought together family office principals, high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and professional advisers to strengthen relationships, make new connections and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the region’s private wealth community.
Both events reinforced the importance of long-term relationships, specialist expertise and international connectivity, reflecting Jersey Finance’s continued commitment to engaging with Asia’s financial services community.
