With less than two weeks to go until the 2026 Accuro Jersey Triathlon, anticipation is building across the island as athletes, families and corporate teams prepare for one of Jersey’s flagship summer sporting events.
Taking place on Sunday 28 June 2026, the event is set to bring together participants of all abilities for a day of competition, community spirit and fundraising.
Accuro will once again support the triathlon as title sponsor, marking its 11th consecutive year backing the event. This ongoing partnership reflects the firm’s continued commitment to promoting health and wellbeing while supporting the local community – values that remain central to the business following its recent acquisition by Opera Group.
Over the past decade, more than 2,000 competitors have completed the main event, with 2026 expected to welcome participants from across the island and further afield. Designed to be both challenging and accessible, the Accuro Jersey Triathlon offers five race formats alongside a multi-distance Junior Triathlon ensuring opportunities for both experienced athletes and those new to the sport.
Beyond the competition, the event also provides an opportunity for team building, family participation and charitable fundraising. This year’s official charity partners are Brighter Futures and Sepsis Research (FEAT). Brighter Futures supports parents, families and young people in Jersey through programmes focused on parent-child relationships, positive mental health and second-chance learning. Sepsis Research (FEAT) funds vital research into the early detection and treatment of sepsis.
“The Accuro Jersey Triathlon brings together so many different parts of our community and it’s great to see that momentum building again as race day approaches,” said Paul Douglas, Managing Director of Accuro’s Jersey office. “Our continued involvement reflects the importance we place on supporting initiatives that promote wellbeing, participation and community engagement. We are also pleased to see colleagues from both Accuro and the wider Opera Group taking part, and to be supporting two important charitable causes through the event.”
Andrew Thomas, Managing Director of 3D Events, added: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Accuro as title sponsors of the Accuro Jersey Triathlon. Over the past 11 years, we’ve seen participation grow significantly, with competitors travelling from across the world to take part. The event continues to make a positive contribution to the local community, and we’re grateful for the ongoing support of sponsors, volunteers and participants.”
