Crestbridge Family Office Services Administrator Josh Cullinan will be running the London to Brighton 100km Ultra Challenge marathon in May, to raise money for local charity Youthful Minds.
Josh, who only started distance running last year, has set himself the challenge of competing in the London to Brighton Ultra Marathon this May, covering 100km in one single run from the capital to the south coast.
The route begins in London and stretches all the way down to Brighton’s iconic seafront, covering a mix of city streets, country lanes, and the beautiful but demanding trails of the South Downs, finishing at Brighton Beach. It’s expected to take anywhere between 12 and 18 hours to complete, depending on conditions and pacing — a full day of endurance, grit, and focus.
The money raised through the challenge will go to the charity Youthful Minds – Crestbridge FOS’ chosen charity again this year – which works to support young people’s mental health in Jersey, providing guidance, understanding, and safe spaces for those who may be struggling.
Commenting on his challenge ahead, Josh said: “I’m incredibly proud to be raising funds for Youthful Minds, a charity that is important to me as well as my colleagues. Mental health support for young people is something that truly matters, and by taking on this 100km ultra, I hope to not only test my own limits and mental strengths but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I’ve always been drawn to pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and challenging myself both physically and mentally and this event represents both. I look forward to the challenge, and also the beautiful scenery along the way – all for a very good cause.”
Heather Tibbo, CEO, Crestbridge FOS, added: “We are very proud of Josh for taking on this challenge in support of our chosen charity this year. The work Youthful Minds does in supporting young people in our community is crucial and aligns with our own company values of placing the wellbeing of people – our peers, our clients and their families – at the heart of what we do.”
Amy Hall, Children, Young Person and Families Service Manager at Mind Jersey, added: “It’s fantastic to have the continued support of Crestbridge Family Office Services again this year, and we’re truly grateful for the efforts Josh is going to, to raise money for Youthful Minds. Support like this is incredibly valuable in helping us to raise awareness around mental health in young people in the island, and we’ll absolutely be cheering him on as he undertakes this impressive challenge.”
