Greening Jersey: 2026 Registrations Now Open

Join us in shaping Jersey’s greener future.

20 Oct 2025

Greening Jersey, the finance industry-led initiative to rewild and restore Jersey’s natural environment, has opened registrations for its second year of participation.

Launched at the end of 2024 with 39 founding firms, Greening Jersey has already begun to demonstrate the collective power of the Island’s finance industry in supporting biodiversity and climate resilience.

At its first strategic review meeting in July 2025, participants reflected on the first year’s progress and endorsed ambitious plans for expanding impact through both greater participation and higher contributions. Read the Interim Update Report.

The £1,000 minimum contribution will remain unchanged for 2026. However, Greening Jersey is encouraging participants to consider a suggested contribution scale based on headcount, ranging from £1,500 for firms with 11–50 employees to £5,000+ for those with 251+ employees.

We recommend that corporate members of Jersey’s leading environmental charities – the National Trust Jersey, Jersey Trees for Life and Durrell – continue their commitment. There are reductions of up to 20% on contributions (subject to the contribution being no less than the minimum) for firms who support these charities.

“Greening Jersey is about harnessing the collective strength of our industry for the good of the Island we call home. The first year proved the concept; the second year is about growth, ambition and deeper impact. We invite all finance firms, large and small, to join us in restoring nature across Jersey. Making the Island richer in biodiversity and even more beautiful, for the people as well as the wildlife.” Tom McKenna, Sustainable Finance Lead, Jersey Finance

Registrations are now open, and organisations are invited to sign up to play their part in rewilding Jersey.
