Jersey Finance has helped to shape the launch of the new Jersey AI Council, a cross-industry body chaired by Digital Jersey, which aims to coordinate and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across the Island.
As a founding member of the Council, Jersey Finance will work alongside the Government of Jersey, regulators and industry leaders to explore how AI can enhance Jersey’s financial services sector, support innovation in fintech and ensure that the Island remains a competitive international finance centre (IFC).
Through its involvement, Jersey Finance aims to help its Members navigate the evolving AI landscape by facilitating dialogue, sharing insights and identifying practical applications for the industry. The strategy for 2026 includes a broad range of engagement activities such as industry forums, educational sessions and flagship events designed to foster collaboration and innovation. The formation of the AI Council reinforces Jersey’s digital aspiration to be the easiest IFC to do business with remotely, in a digital world.
