26 Feb 2026

Jersey Finance recently contributed a key chapter to the fifth edition of the Islamic Wealth Management Report (IWMR) 2026.

The study of Islamic wealth trends, produced by the Cambridge Institute of Islamic Finance, aims to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Islamic wealth management from a peripheral offering into a robust, values-driven and globally relevant discipline.

Chapter two, ‘Islamic Wealth Management in an Era of Shifting Regional Alignments’ authored by Faizal Bhana, Director – Middle East, Africa, and India at Jersey Finance, details the developing structural shift in Shari’a-compliant wealth management, maturing from a niche sector into a core pillar of the global financial system.

The chapter serves as a practical briefing for senior finance professionals navigating choices in products, jurisdictions and partnerships within a shifting geopolitical landscape. It highlights Jersey’s role as a well-regulated, innovation-driven hub that enables Shari’a-compliant markets to grow with confidence.
