Jersey Finance Sponsors Award at the P.R.I.D.E of Highlands College Awards

The P.R.I.D.E of Highlands Awards celebrate students who have excelled in their curriculum area and those who embody the college’s core values: Potential, Respect, Imagination, Diversity, Excellence.

The awards took place on Thursday 19 June; we were proud to sponsor the Award for Excellence in Access to Higher Education.

The award is designed to give adult learners the qualifications they need to access a University degree course.

Our Communications Manager for careers and skills, Jessica Draisey, presented this award to the worthy winner, Megan Kirkland.

Megan received this award for consistently producing high-quality work, proactively seeking support from her tutors, and using feedback maturely to improve. Her dedication to learning has enabled her to quickly develop strong academic skills and confidence. Exceeding expectations since starting the programme, she has proven to be a valuable asset to the Access course.
