Jersey Library is in full bloom this summer thanks to the loan of the floral displays from our recent Sustainable Finance Summit.
As part of the community legacy aspect of the week-long event in March, Jersey Finance and the event sponsors HSBC, KPMG in the Crown Dependencies and PwC Channel Islands, have arranged for the stunning artificial paper flowers to be installed in the Jersey Library for the enjoyment of all visitors.
The display will illustrate the library’s participation in an exhibition in association with the British Library entitled ‘Unearthed’, which explores the transformative, enriching and sometimes radical power of gardening. They will also be used to support The Reading Agency’s summer reading challenge: Story Garden – Adventures in Nature and the Great Outdoors which encourages children to explore the connection between storytelling and nature.
The floral displays, which will be in position until September 2025, were originally used as the backdrop to the Sustainable Finance Summit ‘The Big Transition – What’s Next? Nature Climate and the Great Transfer’ which marked the five-year countdown to achieving Jersey’s 2030 Sustainable Finance Vision. Visit our Sustainable Finance Hub for more information about the summit, our Sustainable Finance Awards winners as well as videos and insights.
