Nominations are now open for the seventh annual Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards, which aim to recognise and celebrate the stars of the future from across Jersey’s financial and related professional services sector.
Designed to champion Jersey as a hub for young talent, the Awards are open to young professionals aged 16-30 who have shown notable growth and potential in their roles, with the initiative culminating in a gala ceremony on Friday 3 July at the Royal Jersey Showground.
This year, a number of the Award categories have been refined to reflect the changing financial and related professional services landscape, ensuring they remain relevant, inclusive and representative of the industry.
Community Impact replaces the former CSR category, recognising individuals delivering meaningful social value through fundraising, volunteering, sustainability and community initiatives.
The previous Corporate Services and Trust category has been separated into two distinct awards, providing clearer differentiation and more accurate recognition of professional expertise.
Digital and Fintech Innovation replaces the Digital category, acknowledging the increasing role of fintech and digital transformation across the sector.
Insurance, Pensions and Risk Advisory expands the former Insurance category, reflecting the breadth of roles across these closely connected disciplines.
Finally, People, Talent and Culture replaces Human Resources, adopting modern, inclusive language that reflects the strategic influence of these roles on organisational success.
The full range of 14 award categories is as follows:
Jersey Finance Member firms can nominate their ‘rising stars’ through the dedicated Awards hub, with entries then being reviewed and shortlisted by a panel of independent judges. Nominations close on Wednesday 1 April.
