Mourant Governance Services is delighted to announce that it has (once again) been named the winner of the Governance Award 2025, the headline accolade at this year’s Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) Jersey Branch Awards.
The award was presented at the CGI Jersey Annual Dinner, Graduation and Awards Ceremony on Friday, 17 October, recognising organisations that demonstrate exceptional standards in governance, risk management, innovation, and commitment to professional development.
Nominees underwent a rigorous judging process, with criteria including adherence to good governance principles, risk management frameworks, knowledge sharing, and the innovative use of technology.
Stephen McGrath, Jersey Managing Director at Mourant Governance Services, commented:
“It’s a tremendous honour to receive this award again and to be recognised by the Chartered Governance Institute. This achievement reflects the depth of expertise and dedication within our team. It’s a testament to the strength of our people, the quality of our services, and our ongoing commitment to excellence across all areas of governance. Winning this award is the perfect way to cap what has been another exceptional year for us as we continue to grow our expert global team, which now numbers 145 in Jersey alone.”
This latest success follows the recent announcement that Mourant Governance Services’ London team has been shortlisted for ‘ESG Project of the Year’ at the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland Awards 2025, in recognition of its support for City Harvest London, the firm’s London Charity of the Year. City Harvest rescues surplus nutritious food and delivers it free of charge to organisations feeding over 130,000 people each week who are facing food poverty. This shortlisting highlights the commitment of Mourant’s employees, clients, and partners to making a positive social impact alongside delivering governance excellence.
Mourant Governance Services provides a comprehensive range of corporate, accounting, governance, and fiduciary services through a highly skilled team operating in key international finance centres, including the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Singapore, and the UK.
