PwC Warmly Welcomes Its ‘Class of 2025’ Trainees

|4 September 2025

PwC recently welcomed 62 new recruits onto its trainee programme across its Jersey and Guernsey offices. Working across all parts of the business, these bright minds will learn critical technical skills in the coming months, setting them up for truly rewarding careers, where they’ll be given every opportunity to be bold, optimistic and curious.

The current number one graduate employer in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey, PwC is one of the Channel Island’s largest employers and has a strong track record of nurturing future local and international talent – offering a diverse range of early career pathways including traditional accounting, advisory and tax traineeships, as well as the newer Digital Degree Apprenticeship in association with University of Exeter and the Flying Start programme in collaboration with the University of Plymouth, accessed via University College Jersey.

Commenting on this latest intake of trainees, PwC People Partner, Chris van den Berg, said:

“A very warm welcome to our new joiners. Our offices are brimming with their energy and enthusiasm, and I’m delighted to witness them already seizing every learning opportunity to grow their skills and experience here with us in the Channel Islands.

As a professional services firm, people are at the heart of our business, and we take great pride in welcoming such a diverse group of new trainees onto our programme. We firmly believe that having people from different backgrounds and with different points of view and talents working together really helps us maximise on the uniqueness of each of our people, which in turn creates the highest value for our clients.”

In addition to welcoming the Class of 2025 to PwC, the firm recently announced a series of promotions across the business, including four directors, eight senior managers and 18 managers.

PwC’s commitment to investing in the Islands’ future talent extends to its upcoming headline sponsorship of both the Jersey Skills Show in October and the Guernsey Careers and Skills Show in November, where students, graduates and career switchers can learn more about the options available right here on their doorstep.
