Winners Announced for Jersey Finance’s 2025 Rising Stars Awards

The winners of this year’s Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards were announced last week at a ceremony on Friday 4 July at the Royal Jersey Showground.

The awards, now in their sixth year, continue to provide a valuable platform to celebrate and spotlight the outstanding contributions of young professionals across 14 categories in the finance and related professional services sector.

The ceremony was introduced by Jersey Finance’s Chief Executive Officer, Joe Moynihan, who highlighted the positive role Jersey’s young professionals play within the industry. He emphasised the importance of supporting young local talent in order to maintain a sustainable and resilient future workforce on the Island.

A panel of independent judges selected a shortlist of outstanding young professionals. Members of the public then cast their votes to determine the winners.

Winners of the awards this year were:

  • Banking: Dominika O’Dwyer, Royal Bank of Canada (Channel Islands) Limited
  • Compliance: Andy Rostron, TMF Group
  • CSR: Aimée O’Connor, KPMG in the Crown Dependencies
  • Digital: Johnny Hopwood, EY
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Rishan, EY
  • Funds: Taylor Wells, Aztec Group
  • Human Resources: Ana Martins, Accuro Trust (Jersey) Limited
  • Insurance: Abigail Mercier, Gallagher
  • Investment Management: Ethan Jones, HSBC Bank plc – Jersey Branch
  • Law: Ema Francisco, Bedell Cristin
  • Marketing and Business Development: Jenna Noel, HSBC Bank plc – Jersey Branch
  • Operations and Support: Emma Lewis, Ogier
  • Trust and Corporate Services: Bridget Le Brocq, JTC Group

Commenting on the awards, Joe Moynihan said:

“The awards, now in their sixth year, continue to provide a valuable platform for financial services firms in Jersey to celebrate and spotlight the outstanding contributions of young professionals across 14 categories.

“We’ve been thrilled by the fantastic level of engagement with this year’s awards. It’s a true reflection of the exceptional calibre of emerging talent within our industry.

“The enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication demonstrated by these individuals, both in their workplaces and within the wider community, has been nothing short of inspiring. Huge congratulations to all of this year’s winners and shortlisted nominees.
