Wealth and opportunity in the coming years will increasingly flow through women as the ‘she economy’ continues to grow, according to speakers at our ‘Perspectives: Women in Leadership’ event series event series in Riyadh, Doha and Dubai.
Led by our Director – GCC, An Kelles, and supported by our Main Event Sponsors VG, Zedra Fund Services Limited and Affinity Private Wealth, with Networking Reception Sponsor Praxis, the events were attended by 300 professionals, including current and future women leaders from a broad range of financial services to share their experiences and build connections.
This year’s events took on a new format, with Amy Bryant, our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, moderating an insightful fireside chat at all three events. She was joined by Jill Britton, Director General, Jersey Financial Services Commission, Deputy Elaine Millar, Minister for Treasury and Resources, Government of Jersey, in Riyadh and Doha and Helen De La Cour, Director of Financial and Professional Services, Government of Jersey in Dubai.
Through the keynote speeches and panel sessions, the events served to highlight how women are emerging as a significant economic force, leading institutions, shaping the future of family businesses, occupying top positions in the corporate world and opening doors for the next generation to increasingly take on leadership roles.
Deepening dialogue with the Gulf is a strategic priority for Jersey. These events celebrate women’s leadership while strengthening the bridges between our jurisdictions, sharing regulatory insight, professional expertise and developing networks that help businesses and families succeed.
