Year End Events in New York and Miami

Our busy schedule of US events for 2025 has come to a close, following final engagements in New York and Miami. Read on to browse some photos and learn more.

We partnered with AYU in both locations. Our first stop was a private dining event in New York, with experts in law, banking and wealth management. The practical realities of tokenisation were the main focus of the discussion and Jersey’s proactive approach in this space was highlighted. Next, in Miami, at a similar event, virtual assets remained the key theme, including how Jersey’s Tokenisation of Real-World Asset Guidance is already being used by managers and advisors looking to modernise their operating models.

Opportunities to connect with investment managers, lawyers and service providers continued thanks to our sponsorship of the Miami Finance Forum’s (MFF) December networking event. This special occasion gathered professionals and executives from across South Florida, enabling us to share industry insights, build connections and highlight Jersey’s credentials. The MFF is one of the most active finance communities in the US, bringing together people across banking, venture capital, private equity, wealth, capital markets, and adjacent sectors, in a city that has become the country’s second-largest hub for international financial institutions, with the momentum still growing.

Our final port of call in Miami was ALTSMIA, an education-focussed alternative investment event, developed and led by the CFA Society Miami, CFA Society South Florida, Miami Finance Forum, the CAIA Association and Markets Group. This popular conference drew on topics facing investors and managers today, including global asset allocation, risk management, private markets, real assets, alternative beta strategies, private equity and hedge funds. In the same week, we also hosted some family office roundtable events in the city. Philip Pirecki, our Americas Lead, was joined by Sally Edwards, our Legal and Technical Manager, to welcome invited guests.

Our final Private Wealth Network event of the year also took place recently. Led by Philip Pirecki, these engagements bring together trust and estate practitioners, tax and legal advisers, private bankers, investment managers and family office representatives. They are becoming regular and well-regarded fixtures for New York’s advisory community.

This series of engaging events across the region in November and December have provided further opportunities for us to expand our networks, and to highlight the breadth and depth of Jersey’s financial services.
