What is the opportunity?

An opportunity to join the Wealth Management Europe (WME) Operations for a 9 month fixed term contract as an Administrator. You will play a key role in delivering operational excellence across our business and perform core operational and administrative tasks with precision, supporting daily team activities, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring the smooth operation of business processes across various WME legal entities.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Jersey office, requiring minimum 4 days working in office and 1 day working remotely.

What will you do?

  • Produce all work to a high level of accuracy, in a timely manner, and to relevant service level agreements and operational standards.
  • Support your line manager in maintaining current departmental guides, processes, and procedures
  • Support the accurate production of management information and reporting through active engagement with reporting systems
  • Escalate issues promptly to management relating to risks, errors, and daily workload completion
  • Understand team goals and how they relate to wider group strategy
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for simplification and innovation through continuous improvements in working practices
  • Support delivery of projects as appropriate
  • Contribute to a positive working environment and uphold behaviours aligned with RBC group values
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and regulatory codes of conduct

What you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • Demonstrable understanding of the Financial Services sector
  • Good level of IT proficiency
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with ability to motivate yourself and use your own initiative
  • Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to act with integrity, due skills, care and diligence

Nice-to-Have

  • Adaptability to change
  • Experience in operational administration or similar role
  • Knowledge of management information systems and reporting processes
