Rotational Work Experience Placement

Not all students know what it is exactly that they want to do when they leave school. For some, the word “finance”, “trust”, “compliance” are just words they hear day to day however have no idea what they actually mean and what working in this industry actually looks like in practice. That is why at Alex Picot Trust we want to give students an opportunity to take part in a rotational work experience placement whereby they will spend time in a number of departments in the Company including; Trust, Compliance, Onboarding, Accounting and HR. Students will receive a department overview presentation and relevant induction training on the different systems used in each department. They will be shown what an average day looks like in their chose departments and gain hands-on experience with some of the day-to-day operations. The student may also where appropriate be included in meetings on an informative basis. There will also be elements of data inputting and data cleansing tasks.
