Data Analyst – Wealth Management Europe Turn Complex Data Into Game-Changing Insights

We are seeking a Data Analyst to unlock data’s potential and drive strategic impact across the business. You’ll work with legacy and modern platforms (including Databricks), craft powerful SQL queries, build intuitive Tableau dashboards, and collaborate across teams using an Agile approach. If you’re passionate about bridging data with business outcomes, this role is for you.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the Jersey or Newcastle office.

What will you do?

  • Unleash Data’s Potential: Query legacy and modern platforms using T-SQL and SQL to reveal insights that inform portfolio, product and distribution decisions.
  • Build Engaging Dashboards: Create self-service Tableau dashboards that translate complex requirements into accessible, actionable visualisations
  • Drive Innovation: Enhance analytics infrastructure, recommend new data sources, and structure datasets to fuel strategic decision-making.
  • Champion Efficiency: Identify manual processes, spot automation opportunities, and reduce operational risks.
  • Own Quality & Governance: Ensure data accuracy, maintain documentation, and uphold compliance with internal controls, devops and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Work in cross-functional Agile squads, share expertise through peer reviews, and mentor junior team members

What you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • Proven SQL skills (MS SQL Server or similar) and hands-on database experience.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau or equivalents).
  • Ability to wrangle large datasets into clear, compelling stories.
  • Problem-solver’s mindset with strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Proven and recent experience data analysis, ideally in wealth management or financial services

Nice-to-Have

  • Cloud database or AI tooling experience (Python).
  • Agile methodology familiarity.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A passion for wealth management or financial services.
