HNW Families and the Shifting Wealth Landscape

We’re pleased to be partnering with the Cape Town branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) for a private client event on Thursday 28 August.

Titled ‘The Shifting Wealth Landscape: How Are HNW Families Restructuring for the Future?’, this session will be led by Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa, Market Development Consultant – Africa, Jersey Finance, and Dale Irvine, Chairperson of STEP Cape Town branch.

Following a welcome address, the event will feature a thought-provoking discussion exploring key trends shaping the strategies of high-net worth (HNW) families. Topics will include:

• Are families creating more offshore structures or dissolving them?
• What generational shifts are you seeing in how clients approach succession planning?
• How has the demand for intergenerational education, family constitutions or family governance frameworks evolved?
• Are HNW families favouring philanthropic vehicles or commercial legacy building?
