Based in Johannesburg, Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa’s primary focus is developing the strategy for Jersey Finance’s engagement in the South African market. She also plays a vital role in supporting the organisation’s wider activity across the continent.

Phia van der Spuy is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters degree in Local and International Tax, a Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa®, a Chartered Tax Adviser, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). She also holds a B.Com honours degree in Industrial Psychology. Phia co-founded Trusteeze®, a company that digitised trust administration, compliance, and accounting. Her idea to digitise trust services originated when she acted as a business coach for the Microsoft Bizspark programme’s technology startups. Trusteeze is evolving into a digital solutions provider in the fiduciary sector – a disruptor. The group has expanded internationally and is known as WealthEeze abroad.

Dr Pumela Salela (PhD) is a global investment strategist, and the Founder & CEO of Invest Global. With a vast network spanning international partners, investors, and businesses, Dr Pumela leverages her expertise to bridge opportunities and drive investments in emerging markets. Prior to leading Invest Global, Dr Pumela served as Country Head for the United Kingdom under Brand South Africa, based in London, where she marketed South Africa, attracted foreign direct investment, and managed the country's brand reputation. Her distinguished career also includes roles at The World Bank headquarters in Washington DC, The Rockefeller Foundation in New York, and various esteemed organisations in South Africa. Dr Pumela’s commitment to social impact extends beyond her professional endeavours. Through her foundation, the Elnos Foundation, she focuses on education, volunteerism, leadership, and social impact, embodying a dedication to making a difference in communities worldwide.
