Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa is the Director – Africa at Jersey Finance, where she leads the organisation’s Africa strategy, connecting African capital to global markets and global capital to African opportunities. Based in South Africa, she works closely with financial institutions, private wealth advisors, fund managers, family businesses, intermediaries and investors to strengthen the connection between African capital and global markets, while positioning Jersey as a trusted international finance centre and structuring partner.

Celiwe Ross is the Group Chief Human Capital and Corporate Affairs Officer at Old Mutual, a leading pan African financial services group operating across 14 African markets. She began her career as a mining engineer after graduating from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she was the first Black female mining engineer to graduate and finished in the top 10% of her class. She holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. Celiwe is a seasoned executive with deep pan African operating experience and a strong track record in enterprise transformation, people and culture change, corporate strategy, corporate reputation, and strategic growth in complex, regulated environments. Before joining Old Mutual, Celiwe built a significant pan African career at Standard Bank in its Corporate and Investment Banking division.
