Julie Acey
Julie AceyDeputy Director of Customer and Brand, Ports of Jersey
Julie has built a diverse career with a strong focus on strategic and cultural change. She joined Ports of Jersey as Head of Engineering, stepping into a leadership role in a traditionally male dominated field. Alongside this she thoroughly enjoyed serving as lead for Seaperch, inspiring future talent and fostering interest in STEM subjects. Julie is currently responsible for developing Ports of Jersey’s Customer Experience strategy, making sure our island stays connected in a way that truly puts customers first. In addition to her “day job”, Julie is passionate about education and is proud to serve as Chair of Highlands College Governing Board, helping to support and guide the college in delivering quality outcomes for around 5,000 students each year. Previously Julie spent almost 20 years in the Finance Industry, heading up the strategy team for RBS International, following a move from the UK where she led the RBS design strategy for consumer banking.
Rebecca Brewer
Rebecca BrewerChief Executive Officer, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust
Rebecca was appointed as Durrell’s CEO in December 2024 after serving as interim CEO for a year. She joined Durrell in March 2019 initially as Director of Finance before taking responsibility for the commercial and IT operations in 2020. Prior to joining Durrell, she spent 15 years working for PwC delivering assurance and advisory engagements across a range of financial services and hospitality and leisure clients both in the Channel Islands and the Middle East. She is a Chartered Accountant, has an MSc in environmental science and also serves as Treasurer for the Jersey Association of Sustainability Practitioners.
Alan Le Maistre
Alan Le MaistreChief Executive Officer, National Trust for Jersey
Alan Le Maistre is CEO of the National Trust for Jersey, a role he has held since March 2024. The National Trust for Jersey is one of the Islands oldest and largest charities; with a mission to protect the Islands natural beauty, rich wildlife and built heritage. Under its new Strategic framework, the Trust is seeking to support the transition towards a green finance sector and to help facilitate the active participation of local businesses and individuals in local conservation. Alan is a biologist and conservationist and the founder and director of a rural heritage business and regenerative farm. Prior to joining the Trust Alan worked as a financial professional; he is a CFA charterholder with 15 years management experience in the investment industry.
