We hosted a week-long Sustainable Finance Summit in March 2025. It marked Jersey’s five-year countdown to its 2030 sustainable finance vision and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Professionals from across Jersey’s finance industry gathered to hear from expert speakers who discussed ‘The Big Transition – What’s Next? Nature, Climate and the Great Wealth Transfer’, which focussed on and explored the need to navigate to a low-carbon, resilient, circular and resource-efficient economy, one that contributes to the achievement of the SDGs and one where all finance is sustainable finance. The summit tackled some of the largest concerns relating to the transition that are here and on the horizon.

The Sustainable Finance Summit kicked off on Monday with a panel of expert speakers leading a call to action for Jersey. Tuesday’s event focussed on innovation and the power of technology, followed by Wednesday’s event being all the about the next steps for sustainable finance in Jersey.

The Winners of the Sustainable Finance Awards 2024 were announced at an evening gala ceremony held at The Freedom Centre in Jersey, on 13 March 2025.

The Awards ceremony formed a critical component of the week-long Summit.
