Malaysia Roundtable Explores Digital Asset Adoption

Jersey Finance co-hosted a roundtable with Halogen Capital and Carey Olsen in Kuala Lumpur on 1 October, bringing together financial institutions, asset managers and market practitioners to explore institutional adoption of digital assets.

Discussions highlighted Malaysia’s momentum in tokenisation and Islamic finance, particularly tokenised sukuk. Participants shared practical lessons from Malaysia and Jersey, exploring how regulatory clarity, governance, infrastructure and investor protection can support wider institutional participation.
