Project Accountants is hosting an interactive event on 18 November 2026, bringing together financial services professionals and business leaders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can move beyond everyday use to deliver practical benefits across finance, compliance and business operations.
Titled “AI Beyond the Basics: Real Applications. Demonstrated Live.”, the event will take place at Cineworld, Jersey, and will focus on demonstrating how AI can be applied to real-world business challenges.
While AI adoption continues to grow across the financial services industry, many organisations are still exploring how to move beyond basic applications such as drafting emails, summarising documents, and conducting research.
Rather than focusing on theoretical discussions, attendees will see live demonstrations of practical applications, including tools developed by Project Accountants, providing insight into how AI can support existing workflows, improve efficiency and enhance decision-making.
Hamza Mehmood, Co-founder and CEO of Project Accountants, commented:
Most professionals are now familiar with AI and are using it in some capacity. However, I believe we have only scratched the surface of what is possible.
The real opportunity is to move beyond asking AI questions and start exploring how it can perform meaningful tasks, support complex processes, and help professionals work more effectively.
Through this event, we want to demonstrate what is already possible today, using practical examples relevant to the finance industry. Our aim is for attendees to leave with ideas they can explore and potentially implement within their own organisations.
The event is particularly relevant to professionals working in fund management, fund administration, accounting, compliance, fiduciary services and corporate finance, as well as business leaders interested in the evolving role of AI within their organisations.
The demonstrations will also consider the importance of appropriate human oversight, data security and professional judgement when introducing AI into financial and regulatory processes.
By bringing practical use cases to life, Project Accountants hopes to encourage greater discussion around how Jersey’s financial services industry can take advantage of emerging technologies while maintaining the high standards of accuracy, governance and control expected of the sector.
