Walkers’ Jersey head of Fintech, Dilmun Leach, has been named a ‘fintech titan’ in Law UK magazine’s Fintech Power List, a feature recognising lawyers who are helping to shape the future of financial technology. Dilmun is the only Jersey-based lawyer included in this year’s list.
The Fintech Power List highlights practitioners from private practice and in-house legal teams whose work is influencing the development of fintech, digital assets, payments and broader financial innovation.
The feature recognises Dilmun’s role in the growth of Jersey’s digital assets ecosystem and his work advising fintech businesses, financial institutions, asset managers and other market participants on complex corporate, financing and regulatory matters.
Among the matters highlighted are advising Backed Finance on the evolution of Jersey’s first tokenisation platform, supporting the launch of Xstocks with Kraken and Robinhood’s tokenised stocks platform. The feature also notes Dilmun’s thoughts on increasing institutional interest in digital assets and tokenisation.
Dilmun leads Walkers’ Jersey Fintech practice and works with colleagues across the firm’s corporate, finance, investment funds and regulatory teams to advise clients on transactions, structuring new products, financing arrangements and regulatory matters across the digital assets and broader financial technology ecosystem. His practice spans tokenisation, blockchain technology, digital asset infrastructure and emerging financial services businesses.
Having joined Walkers in 2020, Dilmun has played a key role in establishing both Jersey’s and Walkers’ fintech and digital assets offering, working closely with the JFSC, Government, and the newly formed Digital Assets Innovation Council. Today, Walkers advises fintech businesses, investment managers, financial institutions and other market participants on innovative structures and transactions that bridge traditional and digital finance, helping clients navigate a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
The full Fintech Titans feature appears in the September 2026 edition of Law UK magazine.
