On Friday 1 March, our Business Development Consultant – Africa, Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa, is hosting an exclusive funds-focussed roundtable event for finance professionals.

Moderated by Jersey Finance’s Head of Funds, Elliot Refson, the roundtable discussion will cover Jersey’s evolution as an international finance centre.

Dr Rufaro Nyakatawa is the Director – Africa at Jersey Finance, where she leads the organisation’s Africa strategy, connecting African capital to global markets and global capital to African opportunities. Based in South Africa, she works closely with financial institutions, private wealth advisors, fund managers, family businesses, intermediaries and investors to strengthen the connection between African capital and global markets, while positioning Jersey as a trusted international finance centre and structuring partner.

Elliot re-joined Jersey Finance in November 2018 from Crestbridge where he managed their Management Company Services Group.

Elliot’s role is to help define Jersey’s product offering for funds as well as to oversee the strategy and execution of marketing Jersey as both a domicile and destination for Alternative Investment Managers and their funds.
