Our meet and greet event is an opportunity for students and companies to meet face-to-face and learn more about potential placement opportunities.
Who should attend?
This event is intended for:
• Year 12 students participating in the Life in Finance programme
• Participating firms supporting student placements
Why attend?
This event has been designed to provide students with:
• Direct access to employers across Jersey’s finance industry
• Insight into a range of career opportunities and business areas
• An opportunity to make a positive impression with potential work placement providers
• Practical experience of professional networking environments
Event format
The event will follow a structured format to support meaningful engagement between students and firms:
Meet participating firms: Students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from a range of organisations and learn more about their work and placement opportunities.
Share your CV: Students are encouraged to bring printed copies of their CV to share with firms of interest.
Submit preferences: Following the event, students will be asked to indicate their preferred firms.
Placement matching: Placements will be coordinated based on mutual interest between students and firms.

Following the event:
• Students will submit their firm preferences
• Firms will identify students they wish to progress with
• Jersey Finance will then coordinate placement matches accordingly
