What is the opportunity?

We’re looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join our Wealth Management Banking, Credit, and Custody team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about client-focused documentation, communications, and compliance with regulations. Ensuring we meet regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service aligned with RBC’s values. 

What you will do?

You’ll be at the heart of client engagement and regulatory integrity, shaping how we communicate with our clients and ensuring we stay ahead of compliance requirements. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Content & Documentation Support – Refine and update product literature (e.g., application forms, terms, factsheets) to ensure clarity and compliance. Lead the creation of new client materials that reflect our commitment to quality.
  • Communication Support – Draft clear, client-friendly communications (regulatory updates, product changes) and streamline templates for efficiency. Coordinate mass mailings and approvals seamlessly.
  • Compliance & Governance – Be our Consumer Duty champion, ensuring fair value assessments and adherence to regulations like PSD2. Spot risks early and keep our operations airtight.
  • Operational Excellence – Maintain workflows, procedures, and records, while collaborating across teams to deliver cross-departmental projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage with Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and operational teams in approval forums, ensuring alignment and smooth execution.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • Proven experience in financial services documentation, compliance, or communications.
  • Strong grasp of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Consumer Duty, PSD2).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills—turning complex info into clear, compliant materials.
  • Project coordination and stakeholder management prowess.
  • Discretion with sensitive information.

Nice-to-Have

  • Professional qualifications in compliance, legal, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with wealth management or banking products.
  • A knack for workflow optimization and process improvement.
